grass vs. concrete... citywise.

grass: stepping upon the living. insects and the grass itself.

concrete: very close to stone... what grave stones are made of. stepping on the dead. PLUS stepping on the cracks bad for mothers backs. lines are bad for mother's spine. it's hard keepin' mother live with concrete walking.

grass: stepping in a pile of dog droppings.

concrete: great for skipping and hop scotch. saw multiply hop scotchES today in pastel chalk outlines. 1...2... buckle my shoe.

grass: forbidden in many places to walk upon. signs staked into the ground shouting in large font: KEEP OFF GRASS.

concrete: manmade.

grass: sometimes planted by man. and MANicured. mowed down to keep property values up.

conclusion: i want to walk through fields of grass. tall grass. where each step is unknown and deadly. because the wind blows and the grass grows and pot holes MANifest themselves where no POT has touched. and no human has MOWed.
